DW Controls delivered a turnkey 2.2MW power plant for ELA/NASA in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory.
The project was designed to provide reliable, efficient, and remotely managed power in a harsh and remote environment.
Our scope of works included:
- Installation of four 550 kVA generators and two 110 kVA hibernation units.
- manufacture & installation of 6 switchboards.
- Construction of a 40' containerised, climate-controlled switch room.
- Full generator synchronization for seamless operation and redundancy.
- Advanced load management to maximize efficiency.
- Implementation of remote monitoring for ongoing reliability and oversight.
This project demonstrates DW Controls' capability to deliver complex, large-scale power solutions for even the most demanding conditions.
